Been looking in my shed and a tidy up I have not yet checked these for size but 3 Cylinders I think V1000 round might be 850 but will measure tomorrow.
A Bevel box A shaft drive for big block and one I think must be from a small block There are 2 Front timing covers from a Convert I have a Crankcase as well with timing chain & gears and complete crank with rods If any one is interested I am happy to take pics I will be popping them on flea bay in Sept. Make me decent offers they are not scrap. I have a fair few other bits I will just pop on line Stuff like a Bosch Voltage reg and a fuse box for spade fuses only did a clean up today too hot to get pics done etc put this here first I am near Loughborough Leics Cheers Ken

Ken, I have found on my V50III project that turning the rear wheel makes a louder "clank" than my V35II, sound appears to be coming from the UJ area. If the smaller shaft is from a small block and has 12 splines & doesn't have play I could be interested.. Cheers, Adrian Bristol UK

Hi Ken, I've been building a SP3 custom. It's been a real challenge and after 200 miles on it discovered the crank is scrap !
Do you still have the crankcase, timing gears and crank for sale and if so what are they off ? Thanks Phil |

Hello Phil,
If Ken is unable to help you I have a bottom end (crank, rods, bearings) and timing gears engine number VG 204xxx which I believe is from an SP or G5. Let me know if you’re interested. Russell

Thanks Russell but I picked an engine up from Gutsibits yesterday. It's obviously been sat for years so always good to have a back up.
Many thanks Phil |

Hello Phil,
Pleased you’re sorted. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for the engine? I ask because I have a rebuilt LM2 engine and clutch which I intend to sell and I would like to have a feeling for its value. Regards, Russell
