   After a few comments on Facebook I wanted to remind others that many parts fitted to our bikes (and cars) carry a Manufacturers part number IE the TPS/RPM sensor is a Marelli Part Number Guzzi want over £139 for it the EXACT SAME part number from a factor is around £40-£50 delivered. 
This happens across the Vehicle world I needed an AC compressor for a car Manufacturer £470 The exact same part from an AC supplier was, get this, £156 with 5 yr warranty. 

Well worth looking at parts for the individual manufacturers numbers I think
