Well I've been back at work for two weeks. So a weekend off looms.
I fancy a ride up to Corbridge. have a coffee. Amble down to Penrith, Have a cofee. Mabe's stop at Heartside on the way back to Durham. If anyones about, Give a wave.

Well I made Corbridge. But it was too hot for Penrith.
Just as well as when I got too Durham my speedo stopped working. I'll check weather it's cable or worse.

Too hot can be dangerous .... you need to decide between the chances of an "off" or the chances of heatstroke. When in Florida I bought a mesh jacket, that and cut off .... fingerless gloves and levis work in hot weather with open face lid .....
Full leathers and full lid are dangerous in this heat. Top tip I learned in Florida, wear a cotton neckerchief around your neck it absorbs moisture, that then evaporates keeping your neck therefore your head cool, the old "cowboys" knew stuff. Edited by Ken-Guzzibear - 18 Jul 2021 at 13:40 |
