For fitting carburetors, air filters, etc.
Can anyone recommend a source of good quality clips? What I would like are: - stainless steel - relatively narrow so it fits into the groove on the rubber inlet manifold - quality drive screw with hex head - loose end goes inside so one does not get the unsightly tongue hanging out and catching on your gear Also, what "size" do I need for 36mm Dello'rtos. I can measure the diameter but what does that translate to in Jubilee-speak?

I found some on eBay, but beware some of the ones advertised as stainless have plated mild steel screws, cheaper ones. I found out by trial and error! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303908167701?var=603089755683 I ended up with these, the screw in the photo looks like zinc plated but the clips I received were all stainless. Caveat emptor!

These look ok, but I have not bought from this seller, the feedback is ok though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283411853473?_skw=jubilee+clips+stainless+steel&var=584412325828&itmmeta=01K1QR9Z6F7Q7Z71AMCD91RTFM&hash=item41fca9b0a1:g:DoMAAOSwqNxchits&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1c8vsr9%2F4uuJeA2lFcs80Eql%2Bhx92XB3P2tOEx2C15uXU6Ukd4D83PKt3MACGgGmfBf57cXAMcDkpZsfJ3zxoFqZCAcLIay%2BV57jbE8wYj8lWEezKE0EcYIDqc6%2BlqjDCST%2Byn06BtBEqECqaoCpJZ5QQnhd4Jy2uxLbVzU9rMSF%2FZmhhaBkIBHNMUBdpAzeaQXNsOiiTKEWeQiRtK8yUEYyuVvoGnCyO4N47UXqjOH%2FbK91QTFZl4hcxEzw9qwnrWU55Bb5Ptss%2FEoANwey%2Fc%2F%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR7jzp_iNZg
The price looks high but that is for 20, they are only about £7 for a pair Edited by Chris950s - 03 Aug 2025 at 12:00 |

I use Mikalor jubilee clips in stainless. High quality with rolled edges to prevent any damage to clamped items.

Westfield Fasteners (UK based) are a good source - have often turned to them when looking for an obscure fitment!
