From August 2nd, 2021, people travelling with their vehicle from the UK going to Europe will no longer have to carry a Green card. Well that's one step in the right direction. |

... just four kinds of vaccination proof, three passports with two years left to run on a minimum of two of them, at least £3000 cash in the bank, no fishing tackle, and a "q" in your surname...

What is it they say on investment adverts?
Something along the lines of “Past performance should not be considered indicative of future results”?? |

We didn't win the last 100 years war. We used to own large parts of France, no longer. |

Something of a simplification! "We" owned large parts of France as "we" referred to the Norman dynasty, which effectively was French but by this stage didn't see themselves as vassal to the French crown. A few things have changed since then!!

But included Aquitane too. And of course the Channel Islands, which England retained. Yes I know it was a simplification, but that was largely what the 100 years war was over, and basically in the end, England lost. That's all I was pointing out

But we have successfully since re-invaded and pretty much occupied parts of the Dordogne and all without much blood spilt

And a few other parts too. A few years back there was a commotion in one village in Brittany where parents wanted the official language in the school changed to English because most kids there were English.
