I toured part of Europe with my daughter in 2019 , we went from Plymouth to Bilbao ,
we then  rode down to Jaca and stayed over night ,the next day we  moved on to southern Spain ,  Roses which was near the French border . From there we went to Marseille overnight , then into Italy stopping at Pisa , Rome (2 days ) , Venice and Milan , we rode from Venice to Milan (stopped in Milan for a couple of hours ) , and crossed into Switzerland , and then stayed near Interlaken for 3 days , after we rode to Disneyland Paris , we had two days there before catching the ferry back to Newhaven .

The trip was incredible , we loved every minute of it , and we done it on a Harley Davidson Ultra Ltd , but I would love to go back to Italy now on the V100 and go and visit the Guzzi factory and explore the lakes in the region , and I know my daughter would love the chance to do it again .

Do it again if you can !! For me I can't think of anything more satisfying than touring. Many years ago it was riding the 1964 Triumph T' Bird or Guzzi 850T down into Spain and Portugal. Then Laverda twins and a Royal Enfield Bullet and back to (Loop Frame) Guzzi's all over central and Eastern Europe as far as Sicily and Turkey. Off to the Highlands in May then the Italian lakes in July.
It's good for the soul and keeps you young (I hope) I camp whenever possible to keep the cost down being an OAP.

I will definitely do it again , I need to visit some friends in Germany as well so may do that on the same trip , but I would love to do some of southern Italy , Sicily and then the lakes . When we went last time I booked us places to stay in advance through Booking.com , it worked out well and fairly cheap .
