I love the value of a bike to be low then I don't care about riding it in all conditions . I've started looking after me 1100 sport corsa which means I now only ride it for half the year .

Impossible to predict, too many variables.

New bikes are now 18-24% more expensive in real terms than 4 or 5 years ago. This is why PCP is pushed so hard; look at the monthly figure not the juggernaut final payment. No wonder sales are slow and used market firm?

I've got a bunch that I won't put on the salt, and boy have we had a lot of salt this year.

Thinking I might have to get myself a Honda for next winter.

Yeah I agree that low value bikes are best. More than a few grand and I start to get precious. That said the longer I've had it and the more I like it the more kind treatment it hets. I used to ride my R65 through the winter but it's earned a warm slot in the shed now
