LOLLOLLOL

I nearly came up this week Tarkers but then saw on here that you were readying your bike for a trip so I thought I wouldn't interrupt.

I've still got 4 shirts left to iron.

I haven't been to any club meets lately only because I haven't had a Guzzi working for a while.

The dyno tuner had my Sport 11 for 13 weeks :o But the Griso will be back soon.

I'm pretty sure I've met a couple of you at Bristol Italia Day & the Super Sausage cafe. I've bought some bits for someone else's bike off Ken, an engine off Ray and sold my Cali to Jerry_Atric. I think he's still talking to me!

I've spoken on the phone with rbt,Tarquin and Ken but haven't met them yet.
I have, however, met up with two members who bought bikes from me. They shall be nameless, as I haven't heard from them for a long time!!
Sorry, Ken, I've not been to Worksop, so it wasn't me you met, unless, of course, it was you I loaned the 100 GBP to

Hi Ken...that wasn't a pop at the forum kit, just my opinion on so many biker's willingness to dress up in corporate tat like a mobile billboard. If I get given any of that stuff it goes straight to the charity shop.

I suspect many of us wouldn't recognise each other because we've never actually met in person only on line, and we don't have any of the usual club gatherings. That was what the OP was about.Wink

Google maps says 55 miles, via A50 / A515 / A444, 1:22 hrs (but make it a more realistic 2 hrs+), so doable. Big smile

I had the pleasure of meeting Derek and Helen Smith today, and another rider on a blue California Special (I am so sorry I can't remember his name).  I then met Iain Buchanan up in Glasgow.

Today there's a local motoring show down in West Park, Bognor Regis and there will be displays from local car and bike groups along with all the other usual stuff. The organisers are making a big effort with a big screen showing the F1 from Silverstone and a kids film. The weather is set fair and so there should be a good turn out from residents and holiday makers.

I bet there will be no notable Moto Guzzi presence even though there's a main dealer in Chichester.

As I've learned from previous conversations, many Guzzi owners have at least one thing in common with the Harley owners; they will only do exclusive Guzzi meetings. Shame really as events like this are a chance to meet other owners which is what this post is about.Stern Smile

PS. Good show, very well attended with many nice cars and bikes....not a single Moto Guzzi.Unhappy
