Im in bury at honda dealers for the superdreams service - hope they don't spot the glaringly obvious nail in the back tyre... And as i pulled theres a loaded up griso from NL parked outside. I stand looking at the oil dripping from the starter cover.  Apparently its been leaking from head gasket for 6000km and it can carry on for 5000 more til he gets home.  Confidence or what
Honda nc750x ...hmm - a superdream for the 21st century? ZZZZZZ But the goozi is back running..yesserii jim bob. Fun time

I spent the weekend helping the Ace Cafe celebrate their 80th birthday and reunion, ending in the run to Brighton. Made a couple of new friends in the meantime, so may be off to Glemseck 2019!

With so many bikes about I was lucky enough to win the best modern cafe, and a huge bag of goodies to boot, so I’m well made up.

Rode the length and breadth of Paxos (32km) on a hired 150 scoot. Shorts and sandals. 33C . Stopping off at wee coves along the way for a swim.
Only 3 more days of doing the same so I won't post every day unless you need a reminder.
Bloody lovely so it is.

Cheers
Min

We have the local canal lock, but it takes more than closing the eyes.

Our local lock on the Beeston Canal has "Beeston Lido" daubed on the stone bridge, from the 1930's or so they say. Must have been the local kids who couldn't get to/afford the multitude of other lido's in the area at that time.

The water can't be that bad because just downstream people go wild swimming, in Colwick lakes. Even on Boxing day!

Oh the local kids swim in the lock in the summer holidays. Don't think any have died from desease yet. They can be risking Darwin's award when they jump in front of moving boats though.
