Took a ride down to Jacks Hill Cafe for brekkers then lost myself on the tiny roads of the county. Very pleasant.

Took the V85 for a spin around Rothbury, Otterburn and Bellingham this morning. Bit cloudy but nice and cool.
On the way back home I actually saw another Guzzi on the road, a silver Norge on the A1 near Gosforth.

According to news reports, no show syndrome is getting more common.

During my working day, I send a lot of emails out to people with whom I deal during their apprenticeship journey.
What astounds and amazes me is the total and complete inability of people to have the decency to respond to something that applies to them.
I then send another email , no response, so send a written letter with an sae for their response and I include written instructions to guide them through what they need to do.
Yep , you guessed , nothing back.
Then in a couple of months time at a particular crunch point , I say to them - sorry lads , you can't progress to the next step as no-one has done X.
Oh boss , you never told us ????
What do you do eh?
Chuckles my first response under my breath.
Am I going to have this lot running the world if and when they qualify !

When I had my V50 MoTed for its new owner last week, the chap who runs the bike shop said he'd been run off his feet. Never closed down and even when I was there 3 people turned up looking for help.

Richard, I know what you mean. Been through similar situations when trying to train people.
Most common, tell them to look something up, and where to find the information. Later ask a question on the subject and get the answer - how could I know that, you haven't told me.
