I've had my annual oil pressure switch failure. I've bought a sender unit for one of my Guzzis pretty much every year I reckon. This time it's the V7Sport. 2 years and only done about 1700 miles (shameful lack of use). I'm going to try an Intermotor one instead of the Guzzi part this time.

I fitted an "H" crossover pipe and Mistral silencers, and mocked up the rear guard /seat.

I got my Griso bits.

So far I've fitted the replacement yoke, but because the old bearing cage inner is jammed onto it, its notchy.  Don't worry, I always planned to remove and replace it, I just wanted to make sure everything fitted fine.  So that is now at a local garage to remove the cage because I didn't want to use a grinder on it and risk damaging the yoke.

So slow progress, but I am on it.

The Sport... as of Tuesday I won't have seen it for 9 weeks.  9 weeks.  For a dyno tune.  WTF?

Oh... And I washed the Zontes 125.  Whoop de doo.

I'm considering adding a small block Guzzi to my fleet but there's a sofa sized problem.  Literally.  I have a sofa in my garage and I don't have the room for another bike until the council comes and takes it to the tip.
A tappy Guzzi is a happy Guzzi!

On Saturday I had a days advanced rider training with Colin from 3D training, me on the Griso, him on one of those big BMW things. Main focus was iPGSA, COAST and TUG acronyms that bike trainers so love.

I was happy to discover that my riding improved quite a lot through the day - mainly recovering stuff I had learned years ago.

Finished up at the Route 59 Cafe near Skipton in time to see a slow-speed topple on an MV Augusta V4 RR. The 32 grand model I believe it was. I think only the riders pride was hurt.

One drive-by sighting of the orange/black of a V7 Special in Pateley Bridge.

At long last I have managed to work my way through the `domestic` list of jobs to be done so I can now start to recommission the V50`s after the long winter lay up. Hopefully by the end of the week they will be ready for the off, well one is being sold as anything other than sit up bikes these days is not comfortable unless I use liberal lashings of VOLTAROL.
I have also made a sign for the garage door `KEEP OUT GUZZI TIME` which looks to be working although the supply of tea seems to be less!!
