I can never find that "on t'web" topic when I need it, so ...

I don't necessarily expect this to be everyone's cup of tea, but Filippo Barbacone (he of 'Officine Rossopuro') has just taken delivery of, and is apparently doing some sort of a make-over of a spanking new V85TT.

His bikes are generally pretty classy, generally lookers, and his work (frankly) is way better than most of Guzzi's own prototypes so I'm going to be interested to see what he does with this.

Looks like his Instagram page might be the best way to keep track, since he doesn't really maintain a blog or website. He is on FB - as 'Officine Rossopuro' though.

https://www.instagram.com/officine_rossopuro/

Scroll down a little a you can see what he did with a 350NTX (Polizia, I think) and some 750 bits, resulting in a trailie the like of which I rather think I'd be in a rather long queue to throw money at, were it a production bike.

Anyway, some may enjoy. Hope those of you who do find it interesting.

Adjustable for a lower seat height and they wouldn't be able to make enough of them.

Eh? For an Instagram link? Then that's more likely to be your PC, Mike_H. Your browser is likely compromised and needs a look at.

More likely the anti virus program. Some are very touchy.

Odd. Well, I can't fix that, but I can offer that you might reach the same destination by asking your search engine about "Officine Rossopuro + Instagram".

If you get the anti-virus alerts from the search engine results, then ho hum. (o:

I looked on their facebook page and it seems that progress will be documented on there.

Had a look and I must say there are some impressive bikes there. My favorites are those built to ride;some of them appear to have been built mainly to look at.Anyway, good stuff. Thanks Barry.

I am increasingly frustrated by this reliance on Instagram and Facebook. I won't do any social media because I don't want my life to be online, no one would be interested in what I get up to anyway except perhaps a few like minded souls on here, and then only when talking about our common interest. I am not criticising anyone else for doing so, fill your boots! After all, both of my offspring are regular users. What I object to is businesses and social enterprises such as theatres relying exclusively on these methods to provide information instead of a website or email subscription if you wish to enrol.
Sorry for hijacking the thread to air my old fashioned views.

Yours

OK did that, Avast web site checker (it shows green ticks, or not, against items listed in Google search results) says OK no prob, so I go in; Instagram wants me to log in or sign up else it won't show me anything. Ouch

I'm not doing that.

Instagram does indeed try to tempt you to sign in, but if you simply nix that demand, and scroll the page, you see the pictures. Or not, if you choose not to.

Nope, can't get out of it. Nothing else to click on, nothing to scroll. Ouch

You're beyond (my) help. But for me: I don't share any link here that I haven't personally checked on another browser or machine, where I'm not signed in (to Instagram, for example), or already in some related session, so I have some sort of 'preview' of what others will likely see if they click on my link.

I don't check it on mobile devices though, which may behave differently, because I don't do forums (or any other sort of reading activity) on little tiny screens. So sorry if that experience differs.

Just checked it on my PC, Firefox and Bitdefender. No problem at all.
