This comment is not about the new V85 but about future uses of the V85's frame design:-

Full conversation here

Guzzi - abbiamo già in cantiere altre novità su questa piattaforma
Journo - Naked, scrambler, cruiser?
Guzzi - Ripeto, non posso sbilanciarmi. Posso solo dire che avrà entrambe le ruote da 17"...
Journo - Torniamo alla V85TT

∆ We already have other innovations on this platform (frame/engine) in the pipeline.
∆ A naked, scrambler, cruiser?
∆ I cannot say too much, I can only say that both wheels will be 17"
∆ Let's go back to the V85TT...

Having a liking for the yellow/red combination puts me in a team of one then. But that price means I'm going to find myself a Stelvio.  Or a roamer....orErmm

I like the yellow/red.

Seat heights worries me and also daughter getting married.

I'll tell them to pay for it themselves.

I like the yellow paint job too - but then I do have history with colourful cars & bikes.

Were I to buy one I might have to go in disguise, or ask my son to buy one for me, since Mr Guzzi does say the white/yellow and the red-based model are being produced to attract younger riders to Guzzi. By implication older riders (me) are consigned to buying the monochromatic versions. Do I recall someone mentioning grey?

My 1200 Sport Corsa is red, white & gold, thus it's as subtle as a flying mallet.

Sigh, I didn't realise there are so many members from the rural community needing off road transport to sell clothes pegs and lucky white heather. I'll get me coat.Tongue
