Hi  I've just bought a Racer V7ii and would like to fit some slip on cans to it that sound like a proper Guzzi, similar to my old Guzzi 750T from about 15 years ago. Not ridiculously loud, and not to enhance the performance (if I'd wanted a GSXR I'd have bought one.) I'd just like to hear that lovely V-twin sound a little more. Arrow cans are ridiculously pricey, and I'd like some that don't need the whole ECU remapping thing.
Any ideas?
Thanks.  Jenko

I got a pair of reverse cone megas, from eBay in Matt black, think they were about £120 also sold in chrome, quite loud so gonna put some more silencer matting in,they fitted easily on the Breva and may be first part of a transformation as I don't think Breva as standard looks very interesting.

Hi, thanks for that. Don't think the Breva ones will fit the racer but I'll have a look on fleabay for them. At the moment I quite like the standard sound so I might leave well alone. If I change the exhausts, I'll have to go down the road of removing O2 sensors, remapping, changing air filters etc. Did it all with my Bonneville, but don't know if I can be bothered doing it to the Guzzi. The Bonnie sounded rubbish!

I fitted a pair of Mistral Reverse Cone Silencers to my Breva without having to alter anything else and it ran fine. I did subsequently fit a Finebeau Forge module from choice not necessity  and that made it much nicer to ride in heavy slow moving traffic. Hope this helps.

Mistral reverse cone are the way to go, made in the same town, no remapping, bolt on, only 500€ plus 30€ delivery to me in Sweden. Alex at Mistral is the guy to contact. Great service.
