Somewhere round the battery tray from memory, but best to bolt it to one of the engine mounting bolt or gearbox to engine.

Update on my Restoration .....

My restoration has Stalled for the moment I have had a right problem with the seat .
Original was rotten so I bought one from a Guy in Holland, that arrived and was sound.
I then ordered a seat cover from P&K Classic bikes in Cannock, it was horrible it was the wrong pattern and the MG logo on the back was blurred  it came about a week later, it was crap so i sent it back .
I then sent the old cover to a firm called Dis Covers as he said he could make a copy of the old one
he did and it is spot on, trouble is that took a month to arrive .I took the seat and cover to a local chap who does covers  hes now had it 2 weeks and still not finished so all in all its taken longer to get the seat sorted than its taken me to completely strip the bike and rebuild it .
this is the trouble with having to depend on these people /experts to get things done .
I need to buy a new Ignition System as well so thats the next job .
Anybody got any decent Clocks and dash as Mine are a bit untidy .
Its too cold in the garage now for me so will continue when the weather warms up a bit
Might have the F***ing seat back by Spring  Smile

I don't mind professionals so much it's the amateurs pretending to be professionals that get me.
