Hi. Been doing some maintenance. Is it possible to replace the internals of the uj's rather than buying an expensive complete drive shaft.  I've seen replacement parts on ebay,  but I have no way of knowing if they can be repaired withe new parts.

It is possible to replace just the cross with bearings, though not easy.

Finding the right part is the most difficult.

Speak to Nigel at NBS he does this sort of thing regularly he is very good, does not take the P price wise it can be rebuilt but tends to be a specialist job, well worth the cost

Thanks for your help. I'm a fairly reasonable armature. I've rebuilt car cv's guzzi gear box & engines. Got a good set of tools. So I will give it a go. I will let you know the outcome.

You do need to know the exct size, diameter of the bearing cups and size of the cross itself. There are at least 3 different sizes on Guzzi models.
