I have had some strange things going on when trying to upload pics.
File manager - clear the old files out - no problem choose file - no problem (I have previously resized the picture to an acceptable size and saved it) upload and the file transfers across and OK then it appears on my post but when I go back into the post later on - all I have is my words text and a tiny picture box - but no actual picture!! maybe others can see it but not me. this is via my desktop PC and windows 10 etc so I get all the Guzzi forum pages fully etc

Maybe I'm misreading this post.
Postimage etc is the easiest way and saves any bother. I tried the computer way of uploading images. Too many stages for me. Not enough knowledge so I haven't. So give postimage a try and relax in the time you save. Cheers Min

ok thank you . I did try it before but was hesitant to go "outside of the forum" to an external provider.
when I opened up my picture - I right clicked the pic - gave me the option to resize - which I did to whatever size 400mb then saved it then uploaded succesfully through the forum process and it appeared nicely - but briefly I don't know if others can see my post on WISHFUL THINKING but all I have is a little tiny picture box

Where have you had this problem? If I can see the post, maybe I could work out what is happening.

Post image is I find the easiest way to post pictures. The only problem I have had has been when my upload speed was very poor.I guess that was a local internet fault, was it?

Hi Brian,
I tried yesterday at 1717 and 0715 this morning on WISHFUL THINKING thread I actually thought it had worked fine as I had nice big pics on my input to that thread - especially after resizing them to match the forum limits

Yes, I saw the Bantam picture earlier, but now you have no files at all in your file manager. It's as if you have deleted the picture since displaying it on the forum.

so - should I have the pictures still sitting in my file manager after I upload them??
and should I leave them there and not delete them? I did delete them as I tried to clear out earlier pics to clear the Mb from my folder I will try again in WISHFUL THINKING put new pictures and left them in the File manager
