Ok, so my heated vest was too small. I usually by clothing in a L size. I ordered XL and as stated above it was minuscule. I asked for a replacement in a larger size and the seller asked me if I could sell it to a friend and buy another!!!! I replied that I would like a bigger size. They said can you sell it to a friend and we'll give you £8. I said I want a bigger size or my money back. They said would you like a bigger size! I said yes I'll have an XXL (as according to their sizing chart this would be plenty big enough if not a little too big). They said we have sold out of XXL do you want your money back! I said do you have an XXXL ( thinking I dont mid if it is a bit loose) They said yes we have one. I said send me one then. They said Ok. I said where is my replacement. They said it is ready for dispatch. I said please send it or I'm contacting Ebay. They said, it's on its way. I said where is my order. They said it has been sent here is the tracking number. I said who have you sent it with. they said Yodel. I tracked it and it said it would arrive today.
It just arrived!
Bearing in mind I usually by L size this XXXL just fits snugly over my shirt.

It was early January when I first ordered this. After every contact I had to wait days for a reply.

Sell it to a friend, I ask you!

It better bloody work now.

It was a UK supplier too!

That'll be Chinese sizes.
US sizes are different to ours too, their L is our XL.

Ha Ha Ha Ha! It arrived today, quite quickly. As advised I bought a bigger size than the size chart advised. I went to put t on, but had to dislocate my shoulders before I could squeeze into it. Then  I  discovered there was a 2" gap between each side of the zip - marvelous! Do these people cater for midgets? I am a bit of a bean pole but their sizing is ridiculous, XL is probably small in real terms and nowhere near what they state.

Oh well, I guess it'll be going back - and they want to charge me £3.00 for that, bargain!

I don't fancy soaking my jacket in lighter fuel then setting fire to it just to keep warm. ..

I do remember at Sandhurst back in the mists of time we all had those little pocket handwarmers which were a stick of charcoal in a fibreglass wadding filled case. Was always concerned in case it opened at some inopportune moment to leave me smouldering.

God, we had some crap kit back then!
