Engine on the Norge died just as I was turning into my road. Stopped and tried to restart, clutch pulled in but in gear. Nothing at all. Had to fiddle about for neutral before I could restart.
I am right in assuming the clutch switch is there to allow a restart while in gear? Never had need to check before, never pull the clutch to start normally. Anyway, removed the switch and took it apart, all clean and working perfectly, but no start if in gear. I'll have to check the rest of the wiring under the tank.

I suppose, you looked under the lever, that when you pull the lever, it actualy pushes the switch... Mine didn't even touched it.

Oh yes, and I took the switch off and operated it by hand.
