And never forget that one day you might forget it's there.

Waiting for the change in the law making it illegal to stop someone stealing something.

A sign on the outside of your garage/shed warning that an alarm and security devices are guarding the contents would be enough to save you from a claim.
My, then, dog bit a courier who foolishly entered his pen to leave a parcel, had there been a sign on the gate ( beware of the dog) then my insurance would not have paid their claim.

Classic !  I'd imagine that put some colour in his cheeks!       I remember  a friend used to remove the steering wheel as a deterrent.

I remember reading many many years ago, a review of a guy who had a Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo.  At the time they were very desirable and if I remember correctly was the most stolen bike around.  Anyway, he rigged it so that if someone tried to steal his bike after about 20 seconds of riding away the thief would get a surprise when a 3 inch spike shot up out of the seat.   Shocked

Seemed like a good idea to me, but I also thought what if it malfunctioned and it was the owner that got the surprise. Ouch

A friend of mine had a GPZ nearly twenty years ago. He took it to the local Bike shop (Won't say which one) They said it's a project bike so did what they could.

Jump farword 20 year I was in said bike shop, they have a GPZ for sale at new bike money. IT'S A CRAZY MIXED UP WORLD . BUT I LIKE IT

Just a thought what if I got a 8x4 ply wood and painted anti vandal paint on for when I'm away and lie it flat on the floor. Or would I get arrested for getting some skanks shoes dirty. Big smile
