On my recent tour to Mandello, I regularly struggled to get the bike in to neutral at traffic lights - has anybody else experienced this on a Sporti?

As always, any advice most welcome

Try selecting neutral from first  before you stop.

My BSA was like that, so my vote is for clutch drag too.

Will check clutch as it seems to have got worse. Have been putting it in neutral before stopping but does not seem right.
Thanks all

Yep had this on both my Guzzis. I put it down to clutch drag as much worse when hot which  I assumed made the plates more "sticky". (Edit: no amount of clutch adjustment twiddling solved it. Altho I usually had to take a bit of cable slack out when it had warmed up, then remember to put it back for when it cools down afterwards.) However latterly I tried thicker gearbox oil plus molyslip (as recommended in this or the other Guzzi forum) and it did help and also made gear changes easier and more slick.

Check the cable for stretch...

I run both my sports with molyslip in gear oil . . When changing oil keep an eye on any flaking from the gears coating . If you don't know about this worth having a read .
