Seeing the luggage thread on here at the moment prompted me to get my Rickman panniers out. I'm never going to get to do any real touring now so they might as well go to someone who might. They are early 1980s and do suit the 850s. If anyone is interested, send me your E-mail address for photos.

Are they the ones attached to the Cali I sold you? If so, worth pointing out that they fit onto the T3 Cali racks and hold a damn sight more than the OE ones.
I'll not charge too much commission for assisting . . .

Ah yes. Thanks for that Stephen. All you would - be buyers, see above. He's a much better salesman than I. Proved that by selling me his bike! Yes these are good roomy panniers. Lockable, quick detachable and fit the T3 Cali rack. What's not to like?

I don't suppose that you have the racks too? Thinking I could fit them to my 1000SP.

No, Sorry. A Cali rack would fit of course as the frames are all the same.

All frames are the same, but not all silencers are. And neither are the mudguards. If, on the 1000SP, you have upswept exhausts, the Cali T3 pannier frames will not suit. Ditto if you have the original 1000SP mudguard.
Jerry Atric is correct in as much as the frame fittings would line up. |

Thanks, fortunately I don't have upswept pipes, nor the original mudguard (looks like a T3 mudguard to my ignorant eye).
