V7 Classic Black and gold was the best. But green & black was nice too. Now blue is in!

Well I've taken the plunge with Hagons for my V7 Classic.
Are they easy to fit? There is a chrome grab handle fixing outboard of the top pivot point. Should get them next week. David. |

Mounting the shocks is easy. Hoist the back to get a free hanging backwheel.
Remove upper and lower bolt. Drag and twist the shock from the upper pin. There were some burrs in the upper hole on one of my Hagon shocks which I had to grind away to be able to mount it on the solid upper pipe in the Guzzi. Recommendation: Make a measurement on the freehanging shock somewhere to compare when load of bike is suppressing the spring. I measured 13-14 mm compression of spring after lowering the wheel to the floor. My presett of spring was lowest possible. My Hagons where marked 18 kg (18 kg/cm) |

Well, they are on.
Will find out over the weekend if I can detect any improvement. I have left them set at the mid position ( of ten) as shipped by Hagon. The original Sachs ones are now in storage. |
