Hi Members,

We are currently conducting some motorbike research in London and Slough today and tomorrow on the bikes below. We have unfortunately had 2 people pull out due to work commitments. They are now doing next weeks group.
If you would like to contribute to some R&D on bikes and earn £80 for the privilege for 2 hours then please email me at info@visionbee.co.uk asap. All these projects can lead to looking at pre-production and perhaps prototype bikes.

Slough

by John Betjeman (1906 - 1984)

John Betjeman published his poem about Slough in 1937 in the collected works Continual Dew. Slough was becoming increasingly industrial and some housing conditions were very cramped. In willing the destruction of Slough, Betjeman urges the bombs to pick out the vulgar profiteers but to spare the bald young clerks. He really was very fond of his fellow human beings. Slough is much improved nowadays and he might be pleasantly surprised by a stroll there.

Slough

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!

Come, bombs and blow to smithereens
Those air -conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
Tinned minds, tinned breath.

Mess up the mess they call a town-
A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown
For twenty years.

And get that man with double chin
Who'll always cheat and always win,
Who washes his repulsive skin
In women's tears:

And smash his desk of polished oak
And smash his hands so used to stroke
And stop his boring dirty joke
And make him yell.

But spare the bald young clerks who add
The profits of the stinking cad;
It's not their fault that they are mad,
They've tasted Hell.

It's not their fault they do not know
The birdsong from the radio,
It's not their fault they often go
To Maidenhead

And talk of sport and makes of cars
In various bogus-Tudor bars
And daren't look up and see the stars
But belch instead.

In labour-saving homes, with care
Their wives frizz out peroxide hair
And dry it in synthetic air
And paint their nails.

Come, friendly bombs and fall on Slough
To get it ready for the plough.
The cabbages are coming now;
The earth exhales.

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
But not if there's a Guzzi there.

Market research is a way of motor manufacturers to find out what their riders want. We have been doing this research for over15 years for bike companies and cars. So far those who have participated have come back again and enjoyed looking at pre-production and prototype bikes. Not something everyone will get to see or have the privilege. Only the few shall I say. There is skepticism I know. There is also trust and the belief that mankind is not that heartless.

I don't know if these are the same firm but I've done 2 sessions on this  sort of stuff; one was on electric bikes and other about where the bikes are built. Can't say it was the most entertaining way to spend a few hours but money did change hands!

Market research is big business, certainly not spam. It happens in almost all fields of marketing, from soap powder to cars and bikes.
Surely it's better to get feedback from genuine Guzzi owners about a specific model than from any Tom, Dick or Harry who happens to use two wheel transport?

I can't see a link to a survey. However I see that there is no website for visionbee.co.uk, only the domain name exists and it's owned by Simon, who is listed as a non trading individual. Don't forget to renew it though, it expires in 2 days.

But surveys done online can be notorious for producing spam, you give your email address and they sell it on.

Been advertising on the Ace website too http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/news_article/1140.aspx" rel="nofollow - http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/news_article/1140.aspx

The 2 sessions I attended didn't mention specific brands of vehicles just the general idea of the subjects, and I don't recognise the company name of the sender of this particular post.

VisionBee is a new company set-up a year ago with over 15 years experience in the industry. The website is currently being developed. As you can see by the website registration I am not hiding my contact details.

Like all industries, there are companies that may contact you later on with their subsidiary companies which are not allowed unless authorised previously by you.

One of our reputations we are known for is not doing such things and only contacting you again for specific projects with your consent.  Both the projects mentioned by Bobv7 I know of and without mentioning the client I was involved in one.

When any new projects come up I will post again to see if anybody has the correct bikes and would like to participate.

Thanks to those who have supported me and the market research industry. The communications have been fun.

Cheers,

Simon
