Follow A90 north to Fraserburgh.
Turn left at the town centre traffic lights onto the A98.
After about a mile as you leave Fraserburgh turn right onto B9031.
Just follow this road through some of the greatest scenery in the world. Pull into Gardenstown for a break by the harbour.
Carry on along the coastal road until you get to the A98, turn right and go through Macduff and reach Banff.
Be prepared for some serious hills and bends along the cliffs. The road is quiet all year round but be prepared for the mandatory tractor. No cameras ... anyone speeding on that road usually dies.
One of the greatest undiscovered roads in the country.
