Always a bit nervous about companies that are reluctant to show prices.

https://www.tayna.co.uk/" rel="nofollow - Tayna are usually the best place to look in the UK in my experience. Rarely beat their prices, they stock an excellent range and you get next day delivery.

I use Tayna for the bikes cars and leisure batteries, they have loads of info, quick delivery and prices are very good They also have Battery manufacturers info which I found told me which AGM batteries can be charged on a "wet" system designed for lead acid batteries

Few places beat them on price but you often have to really search their site.

I don't have any problem with Tanya themselves, they were very good at refunding me when Yodel said they'd delivered the car battery I'd ordered, despite their own tracking system saying otherwise. First it was, we'll search the depot for it. Then it was We will send it out tomorrow. Then it still didn't turn up and they couldn't provide the photographic evidence that the driver is supposedly meant to take when leaving it, despite him telling the company that he'd delivered it. Rince and repeat a few times.

In the end Tanya claimed back off Yodel and reimbursed me the full price. However, this all took a week to sort out and I ended up going to Euro Car Parts and walking out with a similar battery for nearly the same price. Car was off the road for a week so until they start using a more trustworthy courier I won't be going back to them I'm afraid.

I've bought several batteries from them over the years, never had a problem with delivery.

I'm sure it was probably a one off but one bad experience is all it takes sometimes. Same with anything like car or bike manufacturers, some won't have a bad word said about Marque A, whereas someone else wouldn't touch them with a barge pole due to a bad experience and will always buy Marque B from now on.

Just sharing my experience of the poor Yodel delivery service rather than anything to do with Tanya themselves. However, it's not the first time I've had poor service from Yodel saying they've delivered something I know they haven't (I was in all day and nobody called for instance!) and this then reflects badly on the company using them.

Have to say never had an issue with Tayna, they were using FedEx the last battery I had which was earlier this year. But over the last couple of years I have had Bike, car and leisure batteries from them all delivered next day apart from the leisure one I guess due to weight it was sent on an economy service, it kept cost down.

Companies do often use different deliveries for different areas and believe me they often give the drivers almost impossible levels of deliveries to get done over large areas
