I’ve managed to put a dent in my loop frame petrol tank (hangs head in shame). I was wondering if anybody has any experience of the companies that do this, preferably in the south of England as I really don’t want to post it.
Thanks Ian

No experience personally but could be worth a phone call. |

Thanks Dave I’ve got them in my sights but I’m just hoping for some personal experience. There is place in Pickering that has good reviews but I’m just not happy about posting.
Cheers Ian

I have used the place in Pickering and can recommend him. It isn't cheap though! He saved my early Monster tank

Ditto the place in Pickering.
I dropped a piece of wood on my Honda CB1300's tank; luckily the paint wasn't affected. Motorcycledentremoval.co.uk did an excellent job, it was like the dent was never there. The owner says he heats the tank to a very high temp, just below that required to melt the paint, and then pops out the dent. I would happily have paid more than the £200 it cost, quality service. Luckily I live within 50 miles of him, so dropped off the tank and picked it up, sending by courier would be a bit of a lottery. I'd talk to him and see what courier he uses, there must be quite a few who have to courier tanks to him.

Thanks Christy and Stevex
I think the Pickering guy is the one to do it I’ll just have to find a safe way to get it there. Cheers Ian

At £200 surely that would get the tank repaired and re sprayed, just a thought

Mine was one of the very first Monsters, so I wanted to keep originality. You would be lucky to get the dent pulled and a decent paint job, decals etc for £200. I was lucky the paint wasn't broken |

Exactly, £200 wouldn't get you half way to a decent paint job, and you'd have a tank with a lump of filler in it.
