As other have said UFI filter.
some filter have different number of flats at the end,  8 or 14.
Different tools to remove each type...
Also it could be possible for a filter to get stone damage or corrode through... just a thought

Just checked size......oil filter tools is made by laser 76mm dia  either 8 or 14 flats.

Very very rare for stone damage my V1000 has external filter at the front and never gets stone damage if you ever have banged a screwdriver through a filter you realise if a stone hit that hard a leaking filter would be the least of your worries.

I have known filters to work loose, I have known on other than UFI filters for the seal to fail or crimp slightly. Even seen a different filter have swarfe in  the filter ....

There was an article online a guy took filters cut them open and tested them new and after use UFI came out extremely well perfectly capable of providing protection even after 20k miles

He went into the why's and such but the details were very scientific involving particle size, the result was UFI well above all it's rival Companies
