Love my Norge, but would rather have some bars on it - tough, as they dont make them to fit the 8V  i use it most days, taking the T5 out every now and again until winter months when Norge will get put away to try and give it some longevity. T5 will then become the daily commute

As for not having one because plastic is expensive, I have two points, don't drop it .... and please, tell me what bike isn't expensive to mend if you throw it on the floor
That said, I wouldn't tell anyone to get a Norge, or any other bike .... it's personal preference. You know what you like and what you want it for, I have no idea what will suit anyone else. All I can say is mine suits me.

It's a fantastic bike for its purpose, and of all Guzzis, I thought they'd have sold lots more and appealed to non-Guzzi buyers too. I bought my 8V for long distance trips, and it excelled at that. In Oz we have long empty roads that mean we can open them up to very high speeds, and the Norge is superb for this. My most memorable ride was in a downpour, and the faster I rode, the better the fairing and visibility was, and the Pirellis never looked like sliding.

I had one heavy speeding fine, which brought me down to earth. And the pillion was freaking out about me speeding. The truth is that it feels like you are doing the speed limit when you are doing the ton. Or more. But I have short legs, and I put my foot down on something soft, and over fell the bike. I'd rather have a bike where my feet are flat on the ground, or nearly. The low gel seat didn't make any difference because it is wider.

I've had LMs most of my life, and swapped a LM850 for the Norge because I wanted comfort. 1000km days were easy now. No pain at the end of the day on the Norge. Every day bike? I used my son's VTR250 for the little shopping trips, or in the city. I got the Bellagio for my every day ride, and the Norge had to go. I just wasn't using it, except for long trips, and the Bellagio has those covered too.

Yep, its whatever suits, etc...

I would agree that those who are a bit challenged in the leg department might find both the Norge and the Stelvio difficult at times.
