[QUOTE=Marshall the Martian]Oh my giddy aunt. Within 30 minutes and after a brief conversation. They have agreed to refund me. As long as I get the bike sent back. So as soon as I get the V5 it will sadly be going. One point of note they did offer to do the jobs, but I felt It has gone on long enough. Obviously I wont chill too much before I get the refund in my bank.
I am sure that you can return it using the new keeper supplement that they gave you. That has all ref numbers etc on it. By all means post the v5 back when it reaches you. Waste no time in getting rid of it. They have 14 days of receiving the goods for the money to appear in your bank Or you providing proof of it being collected. You may need to speak with them about them collecting it at their expense. This act gives you the same rights as you going into a shop , picking something up , buying it , then changing your mind due to faulty goods and getting a refund But 14 days appears everywhere within this act

Actually if you look at the Gov webpage I linked to the 14 days only applies if the company told you of your right to return before the sale. If they didn't you have far longer. The instruction to the seller says - You must tell the customer they can cancel their order up to 14 days after their order is delivered. They do not need to give a reason for cancelling. If you do not tell the customer about their right to cancel, they can cancel at any time in the next 12 months. If you tell them about the right to cancel during these 12 months, they have 14 days to cancel from when you told them. Edited by Brian UK - 06 May 2021 at 21:13 |

Well, today the Guzzi went back. Sad to say no agreement could be made so I was left with very little choice. Obviously I have not been reimbursed as yet. Hopefully that wont take to long. Anyways soon I may be able to draw a line under the experience.

From a sad day... to one of the best! OMG Marshall is happy, read on.
Finally after a week of being told the refund had been done. It actually landed in my bank! thank crunchie I can now draw a line under this 5 month totally poop malarkey. And move on... I now have another bike which I am absolutely chuffed to bits with, not a Norge needed a break from them and have settled for a bright shiny... V7 MK2 In of course the proverbial fastest colour, oh yeah. Would just like to say many thanks to all that have helped me along during the past few months. Kind regards Marshall
