Hello all

Just lurking at the moment

I'm a serial Italian bike owner but currently own and ride a Yamaha FJR1300

Having owned various italian v twins, I now have a real need to own a Moto Guzzi, but it has to be a Stelvio

Look forward to meeting up when the weather is a lot warmer!

oldest first!

Cagiva Navigator, seriously underated, typical Italian issue's!!
Aprilia Mille RSV. Seriously hurt my back after less than an hour's riding!
Aprilia Caponord, still one of my favourite bikes but it self combusted!
Ducati Multistrada 1000DS, 100% reliable apart from expanding fuel tank!!

Also had brand new 2008 Buell Ulysses, Honda Transalp, Yamaha TDM900,

As you might notice, I like bikes that are certainly not mainstream and prefer to sit upright

Current FJR1300 is absolutely faultless, fast, comfortable and reliable

But missing that Italian thing that I can't even name!

Cool bikes and a man of good taste
A friend of mine has a caponord, loved it too.

You’ll fit in just fine here

Hi Nav18, I feel the same way as you sometimes.  I have my 1000 Lemans that is going nowhere.  Problem is in the past I had several Japanese bikes that has led me to be a USA member of the VJMC and I currently don't own a Japanese motorcycle.  My tongue-in-check solution below for club functions!  A carefully prepared magnetic Kawasaki gas tank decal!

One owner 86' Lemans 1000 (member of the family) / BMW R1200ST (current work horse)

You are what you have ridden!

I don't know about the Stelvio specifically but some Guzzis can rekindle that memory of expanding fuel tank for you  Wink
