Hi guys.
I have a ratted out loop frame Guzzi.
Her name is Alice.
She has been my daily ride for the past 27 years.
Yesterday the intake valve seat dropped out on the left side.
Damaged the head - repairable .
Squeezed the ring glands tight onto the rings - also repairable .
I need to source some parts , rings , valve guides etc.
I am battling to identify what engine it is.
It is the old type with generator and points distributor.
Bore is 82,9mm
Piston OD is 82,6mm
Stroke is 70mm
Engine number is : 13927
Is it a 750 ?
Best place to get parts in UK?

Thanking you in anticipation .

Regards .

Welcome Ivor. The 750 has bore and stroke measurements of 83mmx70mm.So yours is a 750.For spares in the UK try Gutsibits.I don't know of any other Loop Frame parts supplier in the UK.
Stein Dinse in Germany are very good as is Gawa Guzzi.
Some photo's of your venerable steed would be nice.
Best of luck with the repairs and the next twenty odd years of riding your Loop.

PS. If you are not already familiar with it check out "This old Tractor"
Greg Benders' website which has a wealth of information on Loops as well as other Guzzis.

Hi and welcome
If using Stein Dinse for spare parts then it`s worth ordering multiple items to compensate for the shipping costs.
TLM in Holland are also good for spares
