Bought this in April, but as I work overseas have only had one day on it. Looking forward to riding it when home in July. this is the first bike the wife has agreed to go on, so will be able to use it more than the others I hope.

You can never go wrong with a Cali, easily the most popular model

Get well used to the foot arrangement and utilise the wee spigot on the brake otherwise you can find it somewhat disconcerting comming up to traffic lights changing down and braking with BOTH feet in the air. One other thing I found is I like to ride the V1000 with western boots (www.sheplers.com) as the heel does help with easy gear and brake ing. BUT western type boots are NOT everyones choice. HOWEVER they are utterly comfy and waterproof. IF you go for them look at "Roper Boots" they are easy to get on and off and have a steel shank in the instep all day walking comfy I really like them.

You'll be complaining about that high pitched whine soon.
