I there ,some help require ,I am trying to rebuild an engine from a box of bits, The cam and drive sprocket is stuck in its casing ,there is a plate with 3 retaining screws, I have removed that ,the question is how to remove the spindle,is it a tight fit in the bearing? do I knock it out?
I need to get this out so as I can see the timing marks . |

Oh well I will reply to my own post, there appears to be a lack of Lodola experts,
the cam spindle was a tight fit in a ball bearing in the casing, there was a oil seal with a coller rusted onto the spindle. I put it all in my vice and pressed the spindle out, I am still looking for workshop manual in English,
