A few years ago there was a bloke in the USA who sold good quality replacement relays but cant remember the web site or bloke's name. Anybody got any idea where I can get all relays for the LM2 including starter relay?

While on the subject my new LM2 (old) is pretty much all original including brake lines, electrics . About the only thing that isnt original is the paint job, tyres and grips...........

What are the sensible electric upgrades without going too far from original? I'm thinking like bigger better starter cables etc.....anything sensible and practical. Not interested in changing igntion or charging systems just yet. Wan't to see how the original set up holds up for now.

Pyro Dan.

The one worth while change would be adding relays to the headlight feeds.

Never wrote it down, just made it up as I went.
But you use a decent wire from the battery positive to both relay contacts. Other side of contacts go to the main and dip filaments. Then use the output from the dip switch to the relay coils, and earth the other side of the coils.

Just done the headlight relay mod, replaced the H4 with an Osram Nightbreaker  - huge difference, from a soft warm yellow light to a very bright white light .
