The bike looks great Jonathan, enjoy it whenever you can.
Ive got the same Tarozzi footrests on my LM. Im 6'. They are quite high, exaggerated by a lowish seat height. Placing your feet on them can be tight with bigger boots on but I like the sporty feel once youre rolling. Im always surprised how much you can lean the bike on those skinny tyres but I always find the handling safe and re-assuring.

The agostinis come straight off the front frame bolt so are quite far back. Tarozzis are further forward.
There is a table in guzziology that lists the relative position of all the tonti foot pegs. Personally I find the peg position on the lemon 1 and 2 quite fine but everyone is built different and you have to find your best position. The V7 sport/S pegs are further forward than the lemon and of course the S3 is the same as T3.

Guys, how long do you leave this silicon to cure before firing up the engine ?
I put the exhaust system back on yesterday and smothered it all in silicone as advised. It still feels pretty sticky to the touch. Do I leave it until it seems dry ?

Don’t know the official answer as per the experts but I fired up within an hour and it’s been fine since then, several runs later. Perhaps the original idea posters will confirm
Cheers

I left my low compression 2 stroke several days, only because the exhaust was one of several jobs I was doing. I wouldn't worru too much about the stuff you can touch it the smear inside that is doing the work. Its only there as a secondry seal. the gasket should be doing most of the work and a bit of 300 deg engine heat should soon cure it.
Once run I would cut off any excess so it looks a bit nicer.

Likewise but as I had a spare, butchered by having been cut lower and re-covered, seat (who lowers a LeMans seat?), I had it re-padded 30mm higher than standard and re-covered. Still a tight leg bend but a big improvement comfort-wise. |
