Found it, bit hidden but a real nice group of Vintage cars and some very nice bikes saw some old mates too Tim Hicks rolled up on "Old Scofulus" the V50 that refuses to be cleaned ...ever Real nice Triking with 1000cc engine and the huge rocker covers well worth a ride out The Pub has a huge array of Whiskies and some very nice Ale .....certainly will go back again

Would have come across and said 'Hi' Ken, but I was running late and you'd buggered off by the time I had beer in hand... I think I recognised Johnno too as I rode in?

The Triking looked a good build, very neat.  An interesting selection of machinery to study over a steady pint...

The V7 Mk2 was mine, and although it was parked near Tim's V50 it didn't catch anything LOL

Are you joining the John Maris run on Sunday? Meeting outside BOAL, M1 J23, 9:00am

I have often caught Tims oil coming from his v50 , come to think of it his LeMans also . My old griso once got a full coat of oil from Tims bike it was that bad it even got on my number plate when I was following him.
See you Sunday Thumbs Up I will be on me 750

It was a grand day out, and I learnt a few things:
1.  V7 is great in town and B roads/back roads, not so great on fast runs with overtaking involved - The single throttle body and A2 compliant mapping make it more like a 350 than a 750!

2.  Need to start looking for something with more chuff for longer/faster rides, but I'd like to keep the nimble feeling of the V7.

3.  I could pick up some good riding tips by following you more often... Impressed with your stand-on-the-pegs to get a view technique Approve

I took the back lanes south of the A50 from Uttoxeter.  The little V7 was more at home, but not recommended if you wat to get there quick! Hope you had a good blast back, complete with castor oil aroma Thumbs Up

worth getting it looked at by Mark at Twiggers to see what he can do , made my V11 Le Mans fly. Thing is larger Guzzis take more to actually throw around

It's a V7 II I've got Ken, it's detuned it to comply with the A2 licence.  I've already checked with Mark and the lads at QB about hacking into the engine map, but it's just not possible (yet) on the ECU that's integrated into the throttle body.

If it wasn't such a new bike I'd consider grafting a pair of carbs onto it.

Love the handling of the V7, cornering and general handling are hard to fault, just needs a bit more poke and a taller top gear!

Dear Piaggio,....

No wonder you was a bit behind you should have said , I could not understand why I left you when I was riding steady eddie style . It makes sense now because when I followed you your pace was OK on the twistes
