Hi,

after being off the road for a while my aging body is finding the riding position of the Le Mans a bit tiring, so I am thinking of trying to convert to the more upright position of the Spada.

The Le Mans has got non standard 38mm forks and a rectangular headlight.

Can anyone with a spada tell me how the fairing is mounted?

Also can anyone tell me the differences between the foot rests and hangers and brake / gear linkages between the two models?

thanks,
Bar.

The first spada had lm1 footrests and levers, the second one had the same as a t3. The later spada alloy lattice footrest carriers look to give a similar position as the t3 set

Yours sounds like a lm2 or later and may well have the lower half of the t3/spada handlebar clamps on the top yoke (under the plastic dash). If so a second hand set of clamp top halves and aftermarket bars will let you raise up to spada or t3 height. I got some low rise bars for my cali to t3 style conversion from

They have lots of sizes.

Oops, just seen lm2 in post title!

Unfortunately my top yoke does not have lower half of handlebar clamps, and only has two taped holes which are in use to hold the dash, so I think I am going to be looking for clip on handlebars with a rise built in.
Gutsi bits do a tarozzi pair with 70mm rise, I don't know if this will be sufficient to get a Spada riding position?
