Just servicing the Lario before it goes for its MOT and wanted to check the valve clearances.
The workshop manual and the handbook say INLET 0.10mm and EXHAUST 0.13mm. However, for my V65 it's INLET 0.15mm and EXHAUST .20mm (also confirmed by Guzziology) There's no mention of anything different for the Lario in Guzziology, so just checking on here please??? ta stuart |

I have an impression that original valve clearances were on the tight side and were revised upwards later. This is certainly the case for my V50 although I don't know about the Lario.

I would keep them on then loose side, a sloppy .10 and .13 . That way if the
valves go quiet there's a problem arising. PS need to order new rear tyre std is 120/90/16 ......yet can't match to the front pirelli sport demon, what size are you running on the rear 130/90/16 or 120/80/16 or std but different make of tyre |
