    Posted: 25 Nov 2017 at 17:29
I have spent far too long trying to fit the mid-section two-piece fairing to my Lario.

The left side fits easily but the right hand side fouls the main fairing on full lock.  It seems to mount too low and slightly too far forward.  I have played around with the mounting bracket, even cut the edges off the bolt heads and extended the slot so it mounts higher, but it still doesn't fit.

The main fairing sits square and the steering stop is the same both sides. The mounting bracket is very slightly bent but not enough to be the cause of the problem.

I have checked the part numbers on the fairings and both are correct.

I'm at the point of leaving off the mid-section fairing, getting the bike MOT'd and then fitting it - and putting up with the fairings banging together on full lock!!

Any ideas please?

That's brilliant - many thanks.

I can already see your mounting bracket is set a lot lower than mine, so will give it another go.

thanks again

Hey Hey!!  All is good !!

Funny how a small adjutment here and there makes all the difference.  Not 100% perfect but both sides now fit and the fairing clears them on full lock.

Many thanks for your help - I owe you a beer!!!
