Hi,
I'm Mark from Scunthorpe and I have owned a 1989 Lemans V for 30 years but I haven't ridden it for a while. I may be looking for a few hints, tips and advice that enables me to bring it back to its former glory. Glad to join the group and pleased to see there's still a healthy Guzzi family out there!!! No recent ones, its been garaged for about 15 years... its getting a wash tomorrow so I could post a few then... its the red black white scheme with the fairing and rectangle headlamp replaced by a halogen type from an RD350 LC.. its pretty untidy and sorry looking tbh...

Good to hear that, my two penny’s worth is to do the work needed to get the LeMan back on the road safely and reliably but not get into a full restoration at first, this way is cheaper and quicker and you can find out how well you get on with the bike after the 15 year break.

Welcome indeed To sort the bike really Change oils, drop sump swap filters add battery and give it a go, depending on how it was left you might have to take off and get carbs cleaned you may need to swap out tyres
Spares Used Reboot New and used Gutsibits Stainless stuff inc exhausts www.osmc.co.uk Mechanical spanner twirling you can't handle Nigel at NBS top bloke electrical stuff Towzatronics, VWP = vehicle wiring products Motoworks used to be Guzzi now BMW BUT older BMW's share many charging components with Guzzi especially if you have Bosch starter/charging system Hope that helps Fowlers also have a wide range of spares
