I don't get all this Henry bashing TBH.

I never really took to his early tv appearances so stopped watching the greatest bike journeys or whatever it was called. Always seemed to be a cruiser or a chopper type bike that he rode and seemed to be more his musings than bikers travel show which doesn't interest me. Nothing against the guy though so maybe I should give it another try.

The comment about the guzzi he was riding was spot on I thought.

I quite enjoyed it from the start (whilst restraining myself from my own bias risk of dismissing someone who comes over as middle class LOL ) and really warmed to this show over time. I've no urge to defend or bash but I dont get it either why another outlet in a rarity of outlets gets such a battering. He seems to get a fair hearing on this forum though and its fair enough that not all of us are going to like it.

Pondering why its so hostile in some quarters; it does make me think that if somone's preference is more of the same from the mainstream feed on Bikes then perhaps Henry Bashing is just going to be a predictable outcome. Then again it might just be another thing to get encamped over and all polarised about in an increasingly polarised world.
Cheers, Tony

HC presents an enjoyable and undemanding series about motor cycles, what could be wrong with that.
Just wish he'd stop saying 'man'. He's not even Geordie..

Had my photo taken arriving at the MCN festival last weekend... turns out I do a pretty good impression of Henry Cole  Approve

Apparently the guy remembered me riding past, one of just three V7's on the Saturday....
Come to think of it, except for the club stand I didn't see a single Guzzi the whole day! The car park was a sea of Triumphs, BMWs, KTMs and Jap bikes.
