i watched the Motorbike Show on tv last night with henry as the presenter.  he toured Majorca on a T5 which he was very keen on,  and complemented a modern revamping of a V50 in The Bike Shed in London

I just thought that it was perfectly normal that Guzzi should feature so prominently in any bike programme ...... together with the obligatory Gold Star feature šŸ˜‰

Thank for the heads-up. I had no idea - for those wondering, as did I:   ITV4 - aired yesterday (Wednesday), Ep 1 of Series 7.   Available as 'catch-up' on the ITV Hub thingy.

I watched it too; I'm just grateful for a motorbike show on the tele.
H.Cole seems to be improving with time and experience. His narration was a bit strange on the earlier shows; his speech inflections were all over the place, but he now seems to be able to project aspects of his own personality, rather than what he thinks people expect of him. The new show seems to have built nicely on his previous efforts.
I did think 'I know a forum that's going to pleased about that' when I saw his choice of a Guzzi classic.
Obviously a man of impeccable taste! Wink

There are rumours going about that he is a distant relation to royalty.

It's stated that his ancestor was quite a boisterous chap and, would, from time to time request the presence of a band of musicians, something to drink, and possibly some dodgy stuff to smoke.

He's certainly a merry old sole.

Kate, I have to agree , I think Henry is mellowing nicely and Sam is very easy to watch as well as being very knowledgeable.

I understand that Henry is bowing to public pressure and considering getting Chris Evans to front the next series which should be great because I think he's truly terrific and so easy on the eye and ear.........................

They are also making a brand new series altogether entitled

"Talking utter Sh***e about bikes of which I have no knowledge " and the presenter is a modest chap called Mr Victor Maxer.

Looks promising!!!!

He's filming an episode of this program tomorrow with a group of the guys from the Laverda club.  It's a feature on the Jota and they've pulled together a collection of all Jota models for a ride out.

Last year on a VMCC run we stopped for coffee at The Classic Car Hub (google it) in the Cotswolds and Mr Cole came wandering in with his dog to look at the bikes. He was very friendly, not a bit 'important celeb' type. The owner of that particular collection has bought some of Coles' bargains on Shed and Buried. One of the very gentrified pubs they go to on that programme used to be the bikers pub when I was a kiddy at RAF Brize Norton. It used to be packed most nights. Can't see that happening now.
