Just got a 2018 Californa 1400 Touring in red and was told that it was the first one imported into the states. I can tell you the folks at Cadre Moto Guzzi in Cincinnati OH are some great people to deal with.
Great vibe right from the start and until Enzo delivered it to my door. That's service. Outstanding!

I have wanted a Guzzi since 1978. I was looking for one at that time but a Triumph Trident popped up at a price too good to pass up. Then life and family took precedence. Now retired the itch was back and when I saw the picture of the bike I was blown away. Called to make sure it was still there. As i got in the car for the 2 hour drive I knew it was pretty much a done deal and it was.

Put about a hundred miles on last night and today. It is a truly a great ride. Stopped at a couple of cycle dealers and after looking at some Indians and Triumphs they just don't have that sense of style. It's one sweet cruiser.

Welcome!!  I am in LaGrange near Louisville and spend my week days in Cincy. I can attest that we are blessed to have Cadre as our Guzzi Dealer on bike 4 with them, and have always been happy with their service.  Your going to love your touring I have about 15,000 on mine and love it more every day!

If you on Facebook make sure and join our local Guzzi group

I love mine!

Curt

Hey Curt, where was that picture taken?  With the tracks it looks a bit familiar - or not.

Another dumb question maybe, do you think the 1400 is better than a Harley, or just different?  Reason I'm asking is I have a 1200 Sport and I always expected to  upgrade to a 1400 Tourer eventually, but recently have been looking at the new Softails (Sport Glide) and my Harley dealer is all over me.

Thanks,
 Tony

Well that's a personal taste thing, but the wife and I are Cycle Hoarders and have owned and ridden a ton of bikes. I will say the 1400 touring is probably in my top 3 favorite bikes of all time!!  I love mine, and personally would much rather have it over a Harley but that is just me.

The picture was taken in my home town of LaGrange KY.

Ride safe!

LaGrange? Maybe not where I was thinking. I'll dig out my diaries. My son did research at UK Lexington several years back and I toured the area while visiting him.
