OK, turned 55 a few days ago and miraculously started feeling the cold in the morning. So, instead of taking the cage I looked heated stuff.  Looked at the Keis stuff and after getting off the floor I looked elsewhere - Fleabay.  Ultimately (and I know...you get what you pay for) it turned up today, works off the wifes usb rechargeable phone charger and has 3 settings.   I can run it off the charger or the 12v socket on the Guzzi.  Cost £20. I'm wearing it tomorrow.  I'll let you know.  John

I used to work with a chap who made his own heated clothing
mind he was a clever sort
he also made his own heated bars, back in the 1970s

A heated jacket which runs off USB can never provide much warmth. Max power will be 2 Amps at 5 volts, 10 watts.
On the plus side, it's never going to challenge the bike's electrics.

a few years back i wanted a heated vest and was surpised by the cost so i bought a pair of heated socks £20 and stitched them into a waist coat  one on heart side and other down centre of back ,worked a treat for around 4 years .

Far from `slagging it off` I for one will be buying either the same or similar, but you have to admit the description is laughable in parts.
It has to be a near heatwave for me to retain my body heat these days

Why do you need a charger if it's plugged into the bikes electrics for power?
