Hi all,
I will soon have a pair of rear KONI shocks for sale SOLD

KONI 7610-1429 which I have looked up on the IKON site and they fit these Guzzi machines below.

reason for sale - I have just bought a V50 Mk2 1979 and I couldn't understand why the stand felt very wobbly - it was due to the rear tyre touching the ground - due to the rear shocks being too long and pushing the swinging arm downwards until it was perilously close to the frame tube for the pillion rests.
I researched the KONI number and clearly they were not the right length for my V50 ( all the machines below).
condition - the seals are good and dry and the black springs are not damaged and the paint is good - the chrome sections are not too bad in the main but the very lower part of the leg has some "grips" damage where someone has used grips (why I don't know).the action is smooth and damping good - they're just too long for my bike !!!!

I cannot remove them yet as I need to wheel the bike around during the restoration , but if you are interested , then I will take photos for you to let you see.

cheers - hope it helps someone.

Hi Richard, wondering if you have replacement shocks?
Gathering dust in my workshop is a pair of V7 Stone shocks, I replaced them with units from the Racer.
Seems a shame to have them languishing there, if they would be any use to you I'll be happy to post them.
They are 15 inches from eye to eye.
I don't need anything for them,  if you wanted to make a donation to tfsr.org I would consider that a "reet good do."

Hi Ben,
Thank you for your offer , I did reply earlier but can't see it here.

I have a v7 and checked your measurements and sadly yours are too long.
Thank you for your kind offer
Richard

Hello Ted,
I'm sorry but they are sold.
I did put sold on the heading , but in hindsight , it should have been bigger wording.
I used eventually a pair of Hagon shocks, good service there.

Hello Ted, it's definitely time they were put to good use, I've just hoiked them out of the workshop and besides being covered in dust they look OK.
If you'd like to PM me your address, I'll put them in the post, you're very welcome.
