Greetings from the Netherlands!

I just registered to the forum (after accountlessly leaching on technical advise for a solid year...) so i decided to pop in and give you guys a little bit of an introduction.

My name is Sidney and i am a height and depth rescue specialist in the Netherlands.
I ran with the fire department for a while and saw a big old gap in the system which i'm now filling.
It's not always smooth sailing but most of the time it's pretty rewarding.

Oh the bike. Yes.
I used to ride a little 750 breva IE and last september i stepped it up to the 1100.
It's crazy how at first that increase in power is so addictive and yet here i am, a couple of months later, thinking that in spite of the power and the almost lightswitch-like power delivery...It's actually a pretty mellow bike. The comfort of it has always been there. Added bonus for the heated grips by Oxford :)

It is, however, a -big- bike weighing in at a simply obese 250 kilo's.

You don't quite beat it around a corner like you do with the lighter 750.
Oh well. With great power comes great responsibility.
Namely that of trying to not pull the throttle too enthusiastically and "yeet" yourself into the stratosphere.
It does wheelie, by the way. 
Not that i intentionally do wheelies, I'm too much of a coward to do that but...well, it happens.

On the schedule is...
Well ofcourse the 100 year anniversary of Moto Guzzi in Mandello.
And a repaint.
I'm gunning for a metallic cobalt blue paint.
That should be nice.


Ohwell i'm not going to make too long of a story of it.
You guys will probably be stuck with me for a good little while ;) 

Anyways...
