Anyone know if GPS ball and sockets are a standard size.

I think there are a couple of sizes for small items but go to ram-mount.co.uk and you should find an answer

they are for Garmin BUT quality varies

you can buy ram balls with m8 screw through it on the bay


I used one to replace one of the bar bolts on my Breva 1100,

The normal mount uses a 1 inch ball

1-inch ball. Ram mounts cover a huge range of photographic/video accessories, not just the ball mount. They cost a bit more than the imitations but they work.   https://www.ram-mount.co.uk/
