Hi Guys,

a quick question... I'd like to put twin exhausts on my Breva V1100 - does anybody know if the crossover box from a V11 will fit ?

Don't ask - I have figured how to fit the silencer to with the swinging arm.. I was thinking of short reverse cones...

Any luck with your endeavour? Would be fun to see a twin pipe Breva. Maybe a Bellagio exhaust!

ahh yeah. my mind - it changes like the wind.

The thing is that the real issue is that I don't like the exhaust that I currently have. Its a Mistral oval stainless steel generic sports bike exhaust. Doesn't look anything special - and doesn't sound much better.

After quite a bit of immature reflection - I decided that hanging a silencer on the CARC side might be difficult, and inspired by somebody else on this forum - I started to look for something short and stubby - that would also show off bare (no swinging arm) side..

SO I'm now looking for a short stubby megga - something a little like this :

But in matt black - and without the accompanying oil leak.. ;-)

But - just so you know the sort of lazy youngster I am, I'm also still thinking about replacing the windscreen (which I hate the look of - except when I'm behind it) with a fingernail type - like on the V12 Sport, and I'd really like to let my footpads down just a little to stop those cramps in my hips.

A nice to have would also be a single seat  -like the V12 sport - but not a biggie. I'll get to it eventually. After I fit the Power Commander which is sitting in the front room for over a year now...

But thank you for asking ;-)...

Anybody going to the Bike Shed show in London next month ? (other than me ?)

I had a Mistral. Drilled out the rivet that held the db killer in. Sounded great but looked cheap, out of place on the Breva. Went back to stock.

Not sure how it'll fit a Breva or if I'd want it to. Opens up the back wheel though.

Maybe you could shorten the Mistral, can't remember how it fit together. Possibly drill out and shorten.

All good fun.
