Replacement switch is Zadi = Fiat blank only differences some have bullet connectors others spade new ign switch not that expensive .... One thing I found with the ceramic fuses it is often the case the ends actually wear so there is no actual contact top tip get new ones from scrapyard I got loads from a Mercedes car all copper fittings ...The other thing I learned is silicon around molex holds them together keeps out damp ... take apart yearly and use contact cleaner, then clean off the old silicon and apply new. You can put a broken ign switch back together BUT in my experience they fail anyway. The Alternator runs very hot there is a later nod that adds a plastic spacer to allow better airflow double check the connections in there. When looking at charge system the Rectifier is pretty bullet proof However the Regulator under the tank is not so brilliant you can get a solid state one that is variable useful if you upgrade the battery to AGM it will work better, the solid state one fits to the same bracket, plugs into the loom using existing plug Towzatronics has them as well as molex connectors and ign switches
The Older i Get, The Better I Was
